Docter Red Dot scopes
Okay, thanks. I'm very interested in buying the Docter set-up for a number of my handguns, but I have some follow-up questions. I use red dot sights on my semi-auto rifles and they are imminently superior to iron sights. I would think that they would be even more advantageous on handguns as handguns are used primarily in CQB and are even more difficult than rifles to target accurately with iron sights. But I have not yet seen anyone using handgun optics for duty/tactical purposes. Are people using the Docter Optics mounted on hand guns entirely for combat competition shooting and other competitions or are they also using them for duty/tactical purposes? If they are using such set-ups for tactical/duty purposes then someone would have to be making holsters suitable for wearing optically sighted handguns, but I have never seen them. To your knowledge do such holsters exist? . If so, can you tell me who makes them and where can I purchase them? Thanks much for all your help.
You can use the Doctor on any weapon and these are, in fact, most often used on handguns. There are holsters designed for scoped pistols, such as the Uncle Mike's holsters.
