Doctor Red Dot on Tasco Optima 2000 base

Your information about how the Doctor is mounted to the base and the items found in the sight package sure sounds like my Tasco Optima 2000 sight. I'll bet it'll bolt right up. That'll save me the $50. for this purchase as well as the gunsmithing cost as my Tasco base is already modified to keep it from sliding on the Weaver rail. Had to do the same mod with the Tasco PDP5, sort of JDJ-ing it.

Well, ordered the Doctor and a weaver mount so there won't be any surprises if the Tasco base doesn't fit and if it does, I can use it one of my other firearms that will get a Doctor next year. cw
