Sighting in Docter Red Dot Sight

Postby New Docter on Tue Nov 14, 2006 12:15 pm

I am having trouble sighting in my Docter II for the first time. I loosen the thrust/lock screws, make my adjustments of windage/elevation, then retighten the thrust/lock screws. I am not getting the expected change in point of impact from the adjustment of the windage/elevation. It appears that the point of impact is dependent on the precise amount of tightening of the thrust/lock screws. (which seems to be hard to reproduce) Am I doing something wrong?

Hi,

The powers that be were very concerned about your sight, never having heard of this problem before. Neither have I. Mine has been perfect through way too much abuse. Contact them at sales@docterusa.com for replacement or repair. Their customer service is as good as a company gets, and they will do anything to make you happy with their excellent product.
