Zeiss Z-point sight

Postby terry1 on Mon May 21, 2007 6:44 pm

Hi, I was thinking of buying a Zeiss Z-point sight for use on a Beretta storm carbine. I have not see much user feedback about this sight posted anywhere. I was wondering how crisp the dot is ,the FOV through the sight I can't find any info on how big the lense is on the sight 1",30mm ???. Any other info about the Z-point would be of great help. I already own several eotech sights,doctor mini dot sight and am just craveing something alittle different for the storm even though I catch myself wondering if I should just buy another eotech and be done with it I know they work great.

Hi

It is as good optically as you can get in a reflex red dot scope - Zeiss optics all the way - crystal clear with a sharp, well defined dot. Really an excellent product.

Here's a few notes I have on iWatertight
Height above rail=39mm
Width=36mm
Length=63.5mm
Weight=110g
10cm at 100m subtension
Auto brightness
Auto off after 4 hours

The Burris AR Tripler would be a nice addition the your Z Point and won't break the bank. You can use the Burris Xtreme 30mm ring in a low height to put optical center just below 1''; which is where I believe optical center is at on the Z Point without a riser.
