Bushnell HOLOsight XLP (BU-RD-530027) Questions
Hi I’ve got a few questions about the Bushnell HOLOsight XLP (BU-RD-530027):
1. How does this sight mount on the Remington 11-87 (looks like with a few pins)? Is it easy to install and remove?
2. If I switch the stock barrel out with a cantilever rifled barrel will I need to take this sight/mount off (I assume so, but from the picture of it mounted it’s hard to tell)?
3. Will removing the entire mount (both sight & mount) cause it to be off-zero or is this not much of a problem if both sight and mount come off?

The Bushnell HOLOsight #530027 uses the trigger assembly pins for mounting, like all saddle mounts for Remingtons. If you can disassemble your gun for cleaning you can mount the sight. Barrel installation and removal is not affected by the sight. You should sight in again each time you install or remove a barrel or the sight.
