I am new to the night vision and am interested in getting a decent nv rifle scope for raccoons, fox, coyotes etc. I have my eyes on the ATN Aries MK330 Warrior Night Vision Rifle Scope w/ 450mw and the Yukon 1.5x42 mm Varmint Hunter Night Vision Riflescope. Is anyone familiar with both of these or what feedback can you give me with either one?

also what is the muzzle flash protection I have read about with some scopes? I have heard that with some nv scopes when you shoot it lights up the scope and takes it a few seconds to readjust to the dark. is this true or how do I know which scopes will do this?

The picture you get out of them is almost identical. The ATN MK 330 has an IR light that is a bit more powerful, but that hardly matters. ATN has availability and good customer service, but the Yukon Varmint Hunter is a bit smaller and less clumsy. The Yukon is also a bit less expensive and has a remote switch. I would choose the Yukon in this case.
