I just purchased the Celestron AstroMaster 130 EQ for my husbands birthday. This is his first Telescope. Anyone know if I made a good decision? Thanks!

Hi

Yes, that's a fine first telescope in a manual telescope. The CG3 is a decent mount and 130mm is large enough to show you a lot of obejcts.
