CPC1100 wedge

Hi I was looking to purchase the Celestron 93655 wedge for the CPC1100 telescope is this the corret wedge for my scope?

Can you tell me what the "Celestron Wedge Upgrade Kit 93662" is used for? In an older reply you said the wedge comes with all the hardware I need to attach my scope to the wedge and my tripod? Will the 93655 be all that I need to purchse, Or are there any components?

My final ? is aligning my cpc1100 with the wedge do I need to do anything different than the usaul alignmeant?

Hi

The upgrade kit allows a no-tool, fine adjustment in azimuth which makes adjustments easier and more accurate on the celestial pole. It is a nice thing to have over long exposures. Not absolutely needed with the 93655, but recommended.

Yes, you will need to do a polar alignment, though not that difficult.

Yes, all you need is the 93655. The upgrade kit is optional.
