Meade 4.5" Reflector Telescope w/ Autostar 70121 cables

I have purchased the Meade 4.5" Reflector Telescope but would like to hook this up to my laptop, I know that I need the Meade USB to RS-232 Bridge Cable 07507, but not sure which other cable that I need, what is the difference between Meade #505 Connector Cable, and Meade #506 Cable, is it just the software? Will either os these cables work with this telescope, do I need the software as software comes with the telescope when purchased.

Hi

You need the 506 Astrofinder kit plus the bridge cable if you are connecting to a USB.

The 505 is for the 497 Autostar. Not for use on a DS or Telestar, which is a 494 Autostar
