I need binoculars for distance which will bring me loads of light and probably stabalised.

I live on a shipping channell and would like to be able to observe traffic.

how is the light measured in binocculars as I have noticed such a difference but dont know how it is measured. Smile

Hi

You can use exit pupil as a rough guide to image brightness, but there is no standardized method fopr comparing image brightness, since other factors, including lens coatings, optical quality and so on influence this binocular feature.
