I've been looking for a quality microscope and am disapointed to see that the Lomo multiscope BMH4-BF and TMH4-BF have been discountinued as they would have suited my purposes perfectly. I am just looking into this as a hobbyist, and was wondering if there are any suitable alternatives. Compound, preferably trinocular, something suitable for college or university level studies. If there are any used versions of the previously mentioned models available, that would be preferential, but most sites yielded no results.

Hi

Sorry, we don't deal in used and no more LOMOs in that line.

You can try the Celestron, http://www.opticsplanet.net/celestron-professional-compound-microscope-1500x-44108.html or one of the Bodelins. These are about as close as we can get at the moment.
