Help me decide which telescope to buy?

I am trying to decide between 2 telescopes- the Meade 76AZ-AD which is a reflector and the Meade 70AZ-A which is a refractor. I just moved into a canyon and mainly want to look at stars and animals that may be on the mountainside. I really don't want to invest more than $150 because I am not sure how much I will use it. Any suggestions?

If you're going to be looking at terrestrial objects (i.e. wildlife), you will want a scope with an upright image.
