I have just gotten a Yukon NVMT 4x50 Multitask Night Vision Monocular 24027. Should I be able to look thru this and see something clearly 100 feet away from me? I used it last night in the neighborhood and looked accross the street but couldn't get it focused properly. Also I can't figure out how to replace the standard lens with the 29501 2X objective lens. I took off the original one but the fittings for the 29501 don't seem to fit the same hole?
Any help there

Both the ocular and the objective are required to properly focus your unit. It should be reasonably clear. All the lenses for the NVMT are one size. If you're sure your not doing something wrong you should exchange it. There have been no problems with interchanging lenses, and I have done it many times myself.
