The info page on the heat seeker pro m claims it can penetrate brush is this accurate info? also has a 300 yd range, has anyone tested the claims on this product?

It can penetrate brush if there is a significant temperature difference and there is enough room to penetrate, similar to line of sight. I'm sure it can reach 300 yards if someone drops a flaming elephant on a frozen lake without wind. Significant temperature difference is the key.
