Get me surveillance systems?

Home security is really important especially for someone like me as I live in a locality that is well known for its bad neighborhood. I have been looking for some home security systems that I could install in my home to secure it against any thieves or burglars. I tried to browse around the internet to look for anything interesting and I just couldn’t find anything good so I have been really futile in my search. Is there anyone who knows of any good place where I could get these particular home security systems? Can anyone help me out?
