Aimshot Heatseeker 3500

Is the AimShot HeatSeeker 3500 legal in california and can anyone buy it?

I don't know why there would be restrictions in California, I haven't heard
of them anywhere else. To use the Aimshot HeatSeeker 3500 to find a dead animal during hunting
shouldn't be a problem, either, if that's what you were getting at, although
if you know something we don't, check with your DNR.
