Heat Seeker

Is this product like the Game Finder Pro II in which you have to constantly scan from left to right in order to recieve the signal or can it be pointed in the direction of the heat source. After scanning from left to right constantly to get a reading from the Game finder pro i get dizzy .. I want someting that if pointed in the right direction it will have a constant reading instead of constant moving to scan.

Hi..I am interested in the 3500 Heat Seeker but have one question to friend has a similar model but does not look the same as yours...I don't know if it's the same company brand either. We took it on a hunting trip and tried it out with no was not able to pick up wounded birds or small game like rabbits etc...I know I was pointing it in the direction of 2 rabbits which were just sitting there and it did not detect them.

Will the 3500c model Heatseeker be able to detect small game like rabbits and birds? Thanks for any info...:)
