Can your heat-seeking devices be used to determine if rodents are living in furniture? I've had to throw out 3 recliners due to this problem. All of a sudden we're having problems because of the all rain we've been having. Everyone in this area is plagued with this problem. i hope you can advise me because these so-called exterminators offer no help. All they know how to do is set traps. Thanks. Laura
PS If you think your devices will help, please advise on which one I should get. Thanks again.

Hi
Sorry, heat seekers do not have the necessary sensitivity to detect heat readings through furniture. The stuffing and fabric act as insulators.
The only type of thermal equipment that will read through that amount of insulation are thermal imagers, but they are prohinitvely expensive. They start with something like the X100P, http://www.opticsplanet.com/atn-x100-th ... amera.html
