Thanks for the help on my last post. I just got back from planet gazing. I like the quality of my 12mm, but would definitely like more magnification (208x) on my 10" LX50, 2500mm. I have a cheap tele vue possel 8mm which might be fine magnification, but quality isn't there. I moved off the 2" barlow and decided on an eyepiece.
I'm looking at either the Televue Radian 6mm (416x) or a Televue Nagler 7mm (357x) or Televue Radian 5mm (500x). I'm leaning toward the 6mm Radian for my high power eyepiece and to split the baby. What would you suggest?
I'm building my first big accessory order, and at this point the price difference between these doesn't matter.

Hi
You're on the right track as far as eyepiece models, but way off on magnification. Forget 400+x. Even 300+X. Even if you lived under perfect skies with perfect stability, even 300x is a stretch. If the atmosphere doesn't get you, mount problems will. Mount stability headeaches rise exponentially with magnification. Keep magnifications at 200-250x and you will be much happier with image quality and tracking.
If you can afford the Naglers and don't mind the shorter eye relief, go for it. If you need the eye relief, go with the Radians. _________________ Thanks for posting with us
