I never thought about how important eyewear is to mail carriers. Along with having to read addresses, you need protection from the sun and elements.
I'm glad you found our web site and learned how you can save money on the best brands of Prescription Sunglasses.
Some key features I noted in your message include quality and functionality. The sunglasses need to work as well as your shoes.
I thought of Wiley X right away. For durability and functionality, Wiley X is the choice of military and emergency personnel. And the sunglasses have style!
Wiley-X are available in single-vision and Bifocal prescriptions. Our Wiley-X Rx Sunglasses are prepared by an authorized Wiley lab to Wiley specifications.
Along with being highly durable, the plastic used for the Wiley X frames is comfortable and they won't slip when you sweat.
For versatility, the Wiley X SG-1 has a lot of features and is one of the most popular sellers. The lens are interchangeable and it can be converted to use temples like sunglasses or a strap like goggles. Also, it has a soft foam gasket around the lens to keep out wind and debris.
The Wiley X Top Jimmie doesn't have the goggle strap so it is more like regular sunglasses. It has the foam gasket around the lens and the gasket is removable.
The Wiley-X ROMER II is even more like sunglasses and doesn't have the gasket.
Take a look at our whole collection of Wiley-X Rx Sunglasses and you can pick and choose the features that make Wileys special.
There isn't another brand that I can think of that meets your needs as well.
See our Prescription Guide for information about ordering Prescription Sunglasses from our store. |

iI wear Oakley and work in construction and drive a truck,I was doing research on wiley x and still prefer Oakley, from my understanding any prescription lens in a wrap around shape will have limited vision area or some distortion in the very far side of lens. That was an area that got my attention and bought Oakley. The Oakley's I have purchased and I have a small fortune invested in Oakleys, the vision has no distortion, but i stayed clear of wrap around glasses and sunglasses. The pair i wear most of the time have curvature and allow very little light in on the sides, love them and stay on even in a 70mph boat.my .02 |
