Setting waypoints

Is it possible to set predetermined waypoints for a route in the Nuvi 260W? Also, is it possible to "arrow over" to the next town or POI to determine how far away it it? I can do both on my handheld and find it very useful. Thanks,

I don't have a manual available to check how to do it, but I do believe you should be able to. You may want to give Garmin a call.
