IF Binoculars for Marine use.

I am looking for an inexpensive pair of Binoculars to keep in my Boat. I want Individual focus and can't decide between the Barska Deep Sea AB10798 or the Celestron Oceana 71188.
I don't really need an integral compass but I like the idea that the Barskas float.
I also wear prescription sunglasses so the deeper eye relief and Dioptric correction on the Celestron is also appealing.
I guess it comes down to comfort and optics quality.
Which of these has the best optics?
Will the peel-down rubber eyecups on the Celestron be more comfortable?
Will the integral compass on the Barska impede visibility?

Hi

Don't get a compass if you don't need it - it will be visible at all times in the view, though it will not seriously impede it.

All IF binoculars have more than adeqaute dioptric compensation for the worst eyesight. Not a factor.

Peel down eyecups are less desirable than twist up - have a tendency to crack with age - but comfort is not an issue.

Overall, I think the Celestron is going to be a better match.
