Carson XM HD's compared to Vortex Vipers

How do the Carson XM HD's compare to the Vipers in low light performance in both 8x42 and 10x42? How about image clarity and sharpness?

Hi

Not entirely fair to compare a $500 bino to one under $300, but I think you would be pleased with the Carson - excellent image brightness and resolution - not quite up to the Viper, but close. About as good as you will find for the price.
