Are fixed-power scopes really tougher, more durable, more trouble-free than comparable variables, or is that idea outdated?
Does anybody have any data on return rates, repair frequency, or tests, that would answer this one way or the other? |

However, regardless of any return ratios, a variable always gives much better versatilty for the hunter/shooter, which is why I have always owned a variable...... As far as fixed scopes being more durable? I think that could be a matter of splitting hairs here!....Anything man made can always go defective. Fixed or variable scopes are not an exception......... |
