the top removes no problem but when i look at it. It seems that the top dust cap should be removed to reveal the top mirror. my brother died and i dont know how to get it off without messing it up bad. all the pictures ive seen shows the telescopes front with the mirror showing like it was screwed off and flipped over. it looks like theres two places on the top that screw off? someone please help. ive tried turning what looks like both of the tops but only the bottom comes off. is this normal and the top is just stuck?

Hi

The front cover threads on, so you must unthread it. Be sure to unthread only the very thin cover plate, not the entire front cell. If it does not pull off, have someone from a local astronomy club help.
