|
|
Hello all,
I’m currently interested in a 7mm browning BAR a will most likely be buying it in the very near future. I’m new in using scopes. I have only shot open sight in the past. I need something that will be very durable, Tactical is key, reliable and I’m thinking variable but unsure. I’m looking for the best scope. My targets will most likely range from 200-800 yards. If you guys could give me some good options to pursue that would be great.
Thanks for your help. |

| The new Bushnell 4200 series 6-24X50mm scope with 30mm tube, tactical (tall) turrets, side focus, mildot reticle is very nice and rugged. |

Thanks for the input; I am looking at this scope online at DSG Arms and their price is $635.00 is this a good price? Also this might be a stupid question but where would I get the mounts for it? I’m not familiar with all the stats/number jargon but this scope sounds like exactly what I’m looking for. It sounds rugged durable and I like the fact that its weather proof with 100% water/fog proof. Good pick… I am a former marine and never got into the scopes. I just need it to be reliable time and again especially for those close quick game targets on the jump or at 800+yards. |

| You will have to do your own research as to prices. Check numerous websites including right here at Optics Planet, they sell that model and all the mounts you would need for it since they carry the scope. I hear the price is changing on that scope because its popularity is rising but you are the one spending the bucks. I will say anything in the 600 dollar range for that level of scope is not bad and that's it. |

| Sorry for that I forgot that I was on an online store forum. After I read about your suggestion I just jumped onto yahoo and pulled up the first store that carried it. I just got off your guys site and you have the better price anyway. Are you and rep. or in sales if so is there a way to email or pm you (if not can you refer me to someone) to chat some more and maybe set up a package with everything that I will need for my new rifle. |

| I don't work for Optics Planet. If you go through the menu in ordering the scope they should give you a list of rings and mounts off a menu, tell them what rifle you have. If it gets too complicated you will have to wait till Tuesday for help from Ryan or Steve to pick out rings and mounts to go with the scope. |
