I'm looking to get past Oakley's marketing hype of "surpassing ANSI standards" : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lZuQunJ7GJA
(oakley quality testing)

I'm looking for the most durable eyewear I can get, and revision seems to be the obvious choice for that: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2mbDokgXmFA (oakley vs revision vs shotgun)

How do I know which glasses have the optical quality of the Oakley glasses?

I want to be able to switch the filters like you can with the revision eyewear (from shaded to clear to yellow), but I also am intrigued by advertised optical perfection of Oakley sunglasses. Can I get all of the above? Thanks for your replies.

Thanks for your post.

Revision Eyewear always receives positive feedbacks. Over 16% of battlefield injuries occure to the eyes. Revision claims that 90% of those injuries are preventable with their goggles and glasses and according to our soldiers' feedbacks that is true. Here http://www.opticsplanet.net/revision-eyewear-brand.html you can find more information about Revision safety glasses.

Do you pass the Turing test? You sounded kind of like a robot/marketer to me.

Does anyone have any insight on my questions?

I'm just sharing my customers' experience with you. I did not wear those eyewear myself, but I got a lot of feedback from the people who wear them and it is positive most of the time. I'm sorry if I sounded like a robot. I hope our quests who have experience wearing those safety glasses, will be able to help you better.
