Ray ban wayfarer Size?

If you don't like the two-toned Wayfarer sunglasses, take a look at Ray Ban RB 2113 in 50 mm size, it is slightly smaller than Ray Ban RB 2140 in 50 mm size.

I am like the person who asked the above question. I have a narrow face and also disagree with the two toned colors. I also think he is refering to when you said that the RB2132 52 mm was narrow as well. Which would have more narrow arms, the RB 2132 or the RB2113?

I think the arm (as well as the frame rim overall) is little bit thinner in the Ray Ban RB 2132 model. But it has a larger lens size - 52 mm. Ray-Ban RB 2113 has a standard Wayfarer temple (the one you can see on the classic wayfarer Ray Ban RB 2140).

ok if i have a rounder face then you can tell me that the bigger ones (wider more than anything) will be the ray ban 2140 54mm or the ray ban 2132 55mm?
im asking becasue i saw on amazon that they have the 2140 in this sizes (52, 54, 50mm eye 22mm bridge, 54mm eye 18mm bridge and 52mm eye 22mm bridge)

so i dont understand which ones are biger the 54 or the 54mm eye 18mm bridge or the 52mm eye 22mm bridge)
the 54 by itself are wider or not im comfused. i read almost all the responses to this post but since amazon has the 54 and the 54mm eye 18mm bridge well i dont know which ones will be bigger for my round face and i really want to buy this sunglasses any help please?????

Ray Ban RB2140 sunglasseswill be the widest when you order it with 54mm lenses and 18mm DBL. I have measured the sunglasses that we have and the widest ones 9Which are 54mm) are 126mm from temple to temple.

50mm lenses would, most likely, be too small for you as this frame is made for small faces. 52mm lenses are no longer available from the manufacturer at this time. I think you saw some left over stock because all 52mm lenses of RB2140 sunglasses were discontinued.

Hi, I had a quick question regarding New Wayfarer sizes.

I was in Sunglasses Hut the other day to try some on, and the salesperson seemed to say that they only came in one size. I don't believe this is true, because based on the comments I've seen in this thread, they come in 52mm as well as 55mm. Anyways, I noticed in the store that the glasses had a marking of "L" or "K" on the inside. Do you know how that marking maps to the 52mm or 55mm size? Thanks in advance!

New Wayfarer sunglasses (RB 2132) come in two lens sizes - 52 mm and 55 mm. Some of the colors are available in the 55 mm size only, others are available in 52 mm size only. "L" is imprinted on the 55 mm model of RB2132, and stands for "large". The sizes usually are marked on the temple of the frame as well.

52 o 18 - for the Ray Ban 2132 in 52 mm lens size (18 mm - distance between the lenses)
55 o 18 - for the Ray-Ban 2132 in 55 mm lens size (18 mm - distance between the lenses)

In my opinion, Ray Ban RB 2132 in 55 mm size is huuuuge. It slips off my nose when I put it on.

I've just bought a pair of wayfarers off ebay, the numbers inside the arm of the sunglasses are "RB2140 901 50 22" does that mean the size is 50mm? What's the 22? I don't understand if this means they're big or small! Worried they won't fit! Thanks for your help!

50 mm is the lens diameter. 22 mm - is the distance between the lenses. It is rather a small/medium size than large.

i just bought a pair of rb 2113 50mm and i was wondering if they are going to be too big, for i have a skinny/medium length face/high cheek bones

To Guest: RB2113 sunglasses tend to fit small/medium faces. Unfortunately this model is currently discontinued by the manufacturer and we have just a few products left. As soon as they are gone, they are gone.

To nix10: Try RB 2132 in 52 mm size. Some of the Ray Ban RB 2132 styles are two-toned, some are solid colors. You can get someting like "902-5218: Tortoise Frame / Crystal Green 52 mm Diameter Lenses" which is classic Ray Ban black frame w/ G15 (dark green) lenses.

Lman, if Ray-Ban RB 3030 fits you well, you can probably try something like Ray-Ban 2140 with 54 mm lens size. You can go with something classic like "901-5418 Ray-Ban RB2140 Sunglasses: 54 mm Lens Diameter, Black Frame, Crystal Green Lenses" or "901/58-5418 Ray-Ban RB2140 Sunglasses: 54 mm Lens Diameter, Black Frame, Crystal Green Polarized Lenses". These two models come with the G-15 lens, the first one is non-polarized, the second one is non-polarized. Or you can go bold, and get the fashion "956-5418 Ray-Ban RB2140 Sunglasses: 54 mm Lens Diameter, Top White On Black Frame, Crystal Green Lenses". You can take a look at other lens options at

Hi Liz,
I would like to buy essentially the largest pair of wayferers i can. When i say that i mean the longest temple length and the widest pair of glasses possible
As i understand from what i read here this would be the RB2132 in 55mm lens,with a 150mm temple which must be a special order?
If this is correct can you please let me know how i can proceed, the colours available, if polarised lens is possible and also the cost?
I am an Aussie and would like to buy a pair if this info is correct?

This thread has been helpful. I just have one question.
I am asian so I have a relatively flat nose bridge. Would the Wayfarer 2132 slide off?
Also sometimes when i smile, my cheeks will raise sunglasses up. Do you think there is a way I can figure out if this will happen with the 2132?
I would try them on somewhere but no where sells them around where I live in Canada so I have to order them online.

I have a pair of RB2113 909 54 19. I like the temple length, but I want a pair that is slightly narrower. Which model would you recommend? If I wanted the lenses a bit smaller as well is there an option for that?

Sorry for a long response. I will try to answer all of your questions.

Ray Ban RB2140 sunglasses with 50mm lenses will be a little narrower than Ray Ban RB2113, and it will still have the same temple length.

Ray Ban RB2132 sunglasses should not be sliding of your face, but I can not guarantee that. They are flat enough to fit you well, in my opinion. Just in case it will not fit you at all, you can always exchange it with us. We have a very easy return and exchange policy.
