Ray ban wayfarer Size?
Great questions! I had to do some digging around for these since I was noticing the same things you were. After speaking with Ray-Ban to get some more clarification - it turns out the difference are pretty small. The 001-14, for example, is different from the W3280 and the L0205 because it is offered in different sizes, 55mm or 58mm lenses. The lenses are also a lighter green compared to the other two models.
The W3280 and the L0205 are different because they are offered in two sizes. The W3280 is available in only 58mm lenses and the L0205 is available in only 62m lenses.
We hope this helps you out.

Hello, There is no difference. Same frame color and lens options.
First is the small size. This one has lenses with a measure of 47mm and a frame that has the size of 129mm wide.
Second is the medium size. The lenses of this size measure at 50mm and the frame measure at 140mm wide.
Third is the large size. Its lenses are 54mm and its frame is 145mm wide.

Thank you for the post. I have not seen these before but they look cool. I hope they aren't too heavy to wear. We do offer several models that have a woodgrain effect and design. Take a look here at http://www.opticsplanet.com/s/woodgrain-sunglases.
The lens width of the 54mm Ray-Ban Eyeglass Frames RX5206 is 54mm. Bridge is 18mm. The vertical B measurement is 32mm and a 145mm temple arm. For an idea of overall width across the face we add 54+54+18=126mm.
I hope this helps.
The Ray-Ban New Wayfarer Sunglasses RB2132 have a more narrow or squat lens shape which is more complimentary to round or oval faces. Go for the 55mm first. Good Luck!
Ray-Ban "Large" Wayfarer: Ray Ban RB2140 54mm and RB2132 in 55mm
Ray-Ban "Medium" Wayfarer: RB2132 in 52mm
Ray-Ban "Small" Wayfarer: Ray Ban RB2140 50mm
The 47/22 of the RB2140 means that the lens width is 47mm and the distance between the lenses is 22mm. The 47mm is no longer in production but is considered very small.
I hope this help you. Have fun!

The Ray-Ban Original Wayfarer Sunglasses RB2140 offers two sizes as well; 54mm and 50mm. 54 offer an 18mm bridge. 54+18+54=126mm. And the 50mm which did not work for you has a bridge of 22mm. 50+22+50=122mm.
The way you add up the three measurements is not correct for overall width. For example I have here a pair of 2140 50/22 (my wife's) which measure 140mm across the top of the frame, not 122mm. The lenses do not measure 50mm horizontally, this is the longest distance across the lens at an angle to horizontal. By the way, this frame is 46mm high for those needing to know.
My wife's other pair of original B+L Wayfarer USA 50/22 in front of me has almost identical measurements, 140mm x 47mm high.
