I'd like to get a pair of those sunglasses he wears in the third season. I noticed that on one of the episodes you get a shot of the right side of the frame (his right) and there was like a logo there. Near the front of the frame theres a rectangle that looks very similar to the way gucci have their logo. But I think those RL Polo ones or the DKNY ones look similar too.

I really liked the pair of sunglasses that the character Sebastian wears on the first Cruel Intentions.

Ooh, actually, I lied. I just saw the clip when he's talking to the deans wife outside the school on the first episode of the third series and there is no little rectangle logo on the right side of the frame. Sorry. But the way the lenses are tinted looks very characteristic of those Ermenegildo Zegna specs.

RB8304 is quite close, although the stems are completely different (and ugly), the shape of the lenses is very similar (not available in blue though :()

Considering his shades are not frameless, its neither of those Ray Bans.

If you decide to give RB 8304 a try, I would recommend going with 004-6G-6114: Gunmetal Frame / Gray Silver Mirror Lenses. This model will probably be the closest in color.

David Duchovny said in an interview the blue ones are his own, the rest is provided by Nancy Collini, the stylist. He didn't mention brands, but she has twitter

Hi,

I was also looking for the original "Hank-Glasses" but couldn't find them yet... Maybe they are just some cheap ones from a drug store... :)
I got a pair or Ray Ban 3269. The shape of the lenses is very close to Hanks shades but a bit more rounded especially where the earpiece meets the lense.
The Ermenegildo Zegna model is the closest I've seen so far. But today I found a very cheap one on ebay.

OK it's from China and it might take a while to ship but hey, $10 (5€, I'm from Germany)... I think I will give 'em a try :)
I will post a review when I got them!

Here is a screencap from the latest episode, season 3 episode 10. They are blue lenses, and a very unique 'square' type frame shape, with some distinct corners and not very 'round'.

Here is a still from season 1 episode 2 showing the temples/stems. They are not curved like most sunglasses, they are mostly straight, like Oakleys (they are not Oakleys)

Hope maybe that helps find the brand.

Found another similar model. Jaguar sunglasses collection - Jaguar 373000. Not exactly the same, but also looks kind of similar.

Hey guys,
I'm also looking for these. I think liz is very close.
I did some photoshopping to help.

There seems to be an embossed logo on the left stem, looks like EN.

Image

And the inside right stem has white writing, looks like "tokyo" or "optic"

You can order them with custom made lenses of any color and transmission:

http://www.opticsplanet.com/jaguar-pres ... 37300.html

This is the page for prescription sunglasses (same frame, but it comes with Rx lenses). You do not have to fill in prescription information if you do not need vision correction. Just leave a note in customer's comments and instructions "No Rx". The lenses can be made without diopters.
