Difference between Wayfarer 2113 and 2140?

Can anyone help me figure out the difference both in shape and size between these 2 models (in the 54mm size)?

Ray Ban 2113 Wayfarer in 54 mm are smaller than Ray Ban 2140 Wayfarer in the same size. RB 2113 has thinner frame on the sides where the front of the frame is attached to the temples. Ray Ban 2113 also has vertically smaller lenses than Ray-Ban RB 2140.

The RB2140 50mm are the only wayfarers available where I live (except for the 3123 model which I really didn't like).
The 2140 50mm fit my medium face quite nicely, but I would prefer bigger sunglasses.
Are RB's 2113 54m bigger than RB's 2140 50mm?

Let’s put the lens sizes aside for a while, and talk about the impression you get when you look at the sunglasses. Ray Ban Wayfarer 2113 looks smaller than Ray Ban Wayfarer 2140. The vertical measurement of the lenses in RB 2113 model is smaller (they are a few millimeters shorter). If you compare all Ray Ban Wayfarer models, Ray Ban Wayfarer 2140 looks the largest out of all of them.

If Ray Ban Wayfarer 2140 fits you well, I wouldn't recommend you to switch to Ray Ban Wayfarer 2113. RB2113 in 54mm won't look bigger than RB 2140 in 500mm on you, but it will be loose sliding off the nose.

The 2140 do fit me well, so the 2113's are off my list.

I still can't decide between the 50 and 54mm version of 2140.

It's hard to believe that there's no website which lets you view all wayfarer models side by side.

I don't understand. I just ordered the 54 mm 2140 and I'm not sure if I ordered the wrong model, but they look completely different from what I expected. They are round. I thought they would be rectangular? Is that the difference between the 2140 50 mm and the 2140 54 mm? I thought they would just be a little bigger. not look completely different

- The only difference should be in the size. The 54 mm ones are much bigger. Check what model number is engraved on the temple of your Ray Ban sunglasses to make sure you received the correct products.

What's the most similar to the model, wore by Tom Cruise in Risky Business? - i want to buy a pair like that. Is it the 2113 or the 2140 one?

These were Ray-Ban 2140. The movie was produced in late 70-s / early 80-s. It was just the beginning of the Wayfarer popularity, and Tom Cruise was wearing the original classic Wayfarer sunglasses by Ray Ban.
