Help me identifying if this pair of rayban wayfarer are real

Hello

new here, just created an account! need help

Im about to buy these sunglasses.. used but they dont have the white logo on the lens nor the RB on the other lens... which seems weird to me.. the rest is fine!
Please help me out

I need to know if these are the real deal or just some fake stuff

Paying 60 bucks for those...

Hello,

Thanks for dropping by. I would say that you have a pair of vintage Ray-Ban Wayfarers RB2140. The white logo on the lens is a recent feature. Ray-Ban used to simply etch their lenses when they were owned by Bausch and Lomb. They look well made and authentic.

In my opinion I would say go for it!

I bought them and then took them to a store! just to make sure :lol:

the lenses were replaced for prescription ones! seems the former owner was kinda blind.. but everything seems in order.. changing thelenses tomorrow so I can enjoy them with my 20/20 vision

Look original to me, however I did spot a lot of fakes on Ebay so I would not be comfortable buying Ray Ban glasses on-line anymore..

I have noticed that the button on the case will sometimes be absent of the Ray-Ban logo. Try to only purchase from authorized retailers like OpticsPlanet Inc.

What about the painting/writing on the inside...the "wayfarer" I would assume fakes would have some sort of crappy spray paint type job on them?

It is very difficult to say by the paint job itself. Usually even fake sunglasses have good painting on them. It depends on case by case basis. The Ray Ban sunglasses on the picture look real to me.
