Is it worth getting polarized Aviators?

Postby Bloodkip on Mon May 16, 2011 10:11 pm

Hello
I was wondering is it worth getting the $50 to get the polarized Aviators?. Right now, I am wearing contacts that reduce glare and the halo effects. The only thing I am wearing sunglasses are for driving and just keeping my eyes out of the hot AZ sun. Also, which looks better silver or gunmetal?

Hey Bloodkip,

The polarized filter is one of the best features I believe anyone should have when wearing sunglasses. I understand that you say your contacts reduce glare but nothing works the same as a polarized filter in the lens. It helps dramatically with not only the glare but also giving you better color acuity when looking through the lens. The Ray-Ban Aviator Large Metal Sunglasses RB3025 is very popular and adding the polarized filter to it only makes it that much better. I hope this helped you out!
