Rayban Wayfarer & Aviator Lens B15xlt

Postby TiagoC on Fri Aug 05, 2011 8:15 pm

Hello, i currently have a pair of Rayban Wayfarer size 50mm in black with the G15xlt lens. I would like to buy a pair with the B15xlt lens. From my understanding the only pair that offers this lens on the Wayfarer model is the LIGHT TORTOISE, right? Because all other models have either gradient brown etc... which i believe is not the real B15xlt lens, or am i wrong?

Also, which size do you reckon a pair of Aviators would fit me the best? (considering the Wayfarer size 50mm is the right size for me)

And one more question, is there an Aviator model that offers the B15xlt lens??? Because from watching the rayban site, none of them does.

Please help, id love to hear from you.

Currently the only non-polarized B15 lens offered in a 2140 wayfarer is with the regular Tortoise shell color, you are correct. Unless there are special editions that I am not aware of (this is entirely possible, check out Ilori stores, they just got a whole lot of exclusive 2140's that aren't online or in ANY other stores)

the size 50 wayfarers fit me well and I wear a 58 eye size aviator. currently there is a black aviator frame that Ray Ban offers with a brown lens but I cannot remember if it is the polarized or if it is B15. check out sunglass cuz I know they have them

I have reviewed the Ray-Ban Aviator Small Metal Sunglasses RB3044 and the Ray-Ban Aviator Large Metal Sunglasses RB3025 and they do not offer the B-15 lens. I was able to find the RB3025 Sunglasses with the Arista Frame (gold) and Crystal Brown Photochromic lens in 58mm, 001-4I-5814. This photochromic lens is brown glass. I would try the 55mm or the 58mm in the Aviator.

I hope this helps.
