Postby TimC on Tue Sep 13, 2011 10:25 pm

I have a bronze aviator style frame, but don't know what lens to get for it. What color lens look best on a bronze frame?

Thanks.

Hello,

You have some sweet options for your bronze frame. Consider brown lenses. Maui Jim puts bronze lenses in their bronze frames quite a bit. VedaloHD has Rose lenses in their bronze frames. I think a gradient brown lens would look really nice.

Have fun and let me know if you need us to get you those lenses at 1-800-504-5897 option 5.

Hey larumd,

Thanks for the help, really appreciate it! I think rose lenses are a bit too "out there" for me, and I'll most likely think I'll stick to brown lenses. Just want to ask for your opinion on another alternative- how does green (dark) lenses look on a bronze frame?

Hey Tim,

Ray-Ban uses their G-15 (Green) lens in the Arista (Gold) frame quite often. So I don't think Bronze would look bad at all. I found the Prada PR54NS Sunglasses that offers a bronze frame with green gradient lens. So it has been done. Go for it!
