Thank you for the post. You would have to know the size of his head to determine that. However the exact model is the Ray-Ban Original Wayfarer Sunglasses. They are available in the 50 and 54mm sizes. BTW, really good movie!

are the 2140's the exact same as the way baoash and lomb used to make them in the 80's
or are there some differences besides the logos on arms and lense

The RB2140 is the exact replacement to the Ray-Ban Wayfarer from the 80s! The differences are subtle. Almost nondescript. Ray-Ban did a terrific job paying homage to the model that started it all!

is it true that the old 80's verions were heavier than the new ones because the type of plastic used

I have not heard anything regarding the weight of the sunglasses. The Ray-Ban Original Wayfarer Sunglasses RB2140 is made of ACETATE which is light weight and durable.
