Ray Ban 3362 cockpit

So I bought sunglasses for both my wife and I from our eye doctor. I originally ordered her a set of tech carbon fiber aviator style glasses with P3 Plus lenses in them. The plastic ends on the tech glasses pulled her hair every time she took them on and off so she went back in and ordered a pair of the RB3362's again I asked the fitters to make sure these glasses had the P3 plus lens. Well we now have them and they don't say P3 Plus on them just P3. I did a little research and the lens in these are glass like the P3 Plus lens. So what is different? I thought P3 was Poly these are glass are they not Crystal glass? Is it worth making a big deal over it? Thanks for your help.

Ray-Ban now offers 3 different types of polarized lenses P, P3,and P3 plus. P is simply polarized, P3 is made from polycarbonate and P3 plus is crystal (glass). All polarized models offer AR coating and the P3 and P3 plus come with hydro-oleophic coating which repels soils and smudges.

To answer your question, the only difference is the material. I don't think it's worth a big deal. Same great optics, it's just poly is lighter and shatter resistant. Glass traditionally has better visual acuity but can crack. So it's up to you.
