Serengeti Nuvola question

Wondering if anyone has these glasses, and if they crack where the screws go through the lens... also how they may compare to the Maui Jim banyans?

I am very familiar with the Serengeti Nuvola Sunglasses. Over time they may crack where the hole is drilled for the rimless frame design. However, this is not a common occurance. Naturally that is a weak point in the lens. The Maui Jim Banyans Sunglasses are design slightly different and is supported more. Both models are protected under the manufacturers warranty for defects.

Are the Nuvola glasses any bigger? How do the optics compare to the Maui jims?

The Maui Jims seem to be a bit bigger in coverage at the widest point of the lenses. As far as optics both brands are so amazing. Very hard to compare. I would encourage you to try them both and see what your preferance is. I honestly have a pair of both brands and enjoy them equally.
