What are these lenses made of

Postby Ray Ban Lover on Thu Jun 27, 2013 11:32 am

I recently got a pair of polarized rayban new wayfarer, RB2132 901/58. I think they are the G-15 XLT lenses, what exactly are these lenses made of? And can you tell be what size they are based on the numbers i gave you? I'm also wondering what the polarized cockpit RB3362 004/58 lenses are currently made out of because I'm thinking of getting some of those as well. Also do you guys know if those cockpits made in Italy or china? If you can answer these questions in detail I will be happy to buy from you guys because I've herd good things.

Hello and thanks for posting,

Sounds like you got a great pair of Ray-Ban New Wayfarer Sunglasses with a black frame with polarized green lenses. I can't tell the size from the model numbers you gave me. On your temple arms look for the numbers 5218 or 5518. This means the new Wayfarer is offered in two sizes 52mm and 55mm with an 18mm bridge.

The Ray-Ban Cockpit Sunglasses RB3362 is made with glass lenses even the polarized options and they are made at all of the Italy, China and Brazil locations.

Let me know if I missed anything. :)

Oh sorry, the Ray-Ban New Wayfarer Sunglasses RB2132 are made of glass. XLT and crystal mean glass.

Let me know if you have any other questions.
