KAWA, you can't just go walk into Oliver Peoples and get the original gothic rose color. They simply don't make it anymore. They do still make a gothic rose color, but it looks nothing like gothic rose from the 1990s. Maybe you have the new gothic rose color? Anyways, its pretty obvious your lens color isn't the same as the movie, so please don't claim that it is.

Well KAWA, I sold my sunsets long ago. The sunset was made for women, and the butterfly shape is hard for any guy to pull of. But a pair of sunsets from the movie would look more like this picture I am providing of this old brushed chrome pair of Oliver Peoples. Also, in the picture is the rarest pair of fight club sunglasses out there, which is the 1st batch OP-523. It was the only pair of mine that I thought was worthy of keeping. Original OP-523s were made in 2 batches, and only pairs from the first batch have a "special hinge" making it unique. Every single OP-523 made after the first batch has an inferior hinge.

KAWA I never said the color used was in the sunsets tangerine, it is BURNT ORANGE. Once again Burnt Orange, NOT tangerine. The same color used in the Aero. Here are clearer, more definitive pictures because I think people should least know the truth before buying your pair that you are trying to pass off as basically an exact replica of Brad Pitt's

Actually here is question for you who KAWA. Why are are trying to deceive people? Right Now KAWA is trying to sell a pair of OP-523s as Gothic Rose and a pair of Sunsets as Gothic Rose. The problem is that the lens color is different in both pairs. That's kinda shady KAWA, don't you think? Please explain yourself, oh and of course I will provide a picture because I just can't figure out how 2 different colors could have the same name

HI AXEL, I AM NOT DECEIVING PEOPLE, PLEASE DO NOT JUDGE ME, YOU ARE NOBODY TO DO THAT.
AS YOU SHOULD KNOW, BY SUNLIGHT GOTHIC ROSE LENSES CHANGE COLOR IN VARIOUS GRADATIONS AND MAY BE WHEN I SHOT PICS THERE WAS NOT WAS A DIFFERENT LIGHT AND MAY BE I WAS IN A DIFFERENT PLACE. DID NOT ASK IT TO YOU BEFORE WRITE IT ???
AS ALL YOU CAN SEE IN MAY AUCTIONS I AM THE ONLY ONE WHO I SELLING OP-523 AN SUNSET FRAME WHO ACCEPT RETURNS, SO IF YOU DO NOT LIKE IT OR 'THINK HAS BEEN DECEIVE' YOU CAN RETURN FRAMES END GET BACK MONEY.
WHY I M THE ONLY ONE??? SO PLEASE AXEL ...STOP TO SAY BULLSHIT!

HAVE A GOOD DAY

KAWA It may be hard for you to believe, but not all people are dishonest. I can judge because I know more about these sunglasses than you do. So I want a clear answer from you; are you saying that both your pairs are the same color? Here is the picture again for everyone to see:

You're right that the lighting can make difference, but not in this case.

Yes axel, I agree with you... My pics looks different , but i assure you are the same gothic rose, only shots in different light conditions.
after more than 10 years, all of us are still here having discussion about sunset lens colors....it is not crazy?? many versions, too stories.
I got in touch with op central dpt and they confirm sunset where in gothic, not in burnt orange.
Instead you say the opposite .... Why? Only for a pics??
have you ever tried to point a strong ray of light on gothic rose as brad Pitt in your pic??

Do me a favor KAWA. Take a side by side picture of your OP-523 and your Sunset. If it is the same lighting then they should be the same color, and you can at least prove your point to me.

I can't wait KAWA, but until then I will provide you with 4 more pictures further proving my point that the color of the sunsets is in fact burnt orange and not some purplish pink color. I was able to capture two more department store pictures of the sunsets, and make sure you look where the light passes through so you can see the orange in the lenses.

AXEL,

WHAT ABOUT THIS FRAME SHOT? WHEN NORTON OPEN TYLER'S DRAWERS APPEAR A FRAME IN ROSE LENSES, CLEARLY IT IS NOT 523s.... AERO OR SUNSET?

No guest poster, that is not the color of the sunset from the movie. KAWA if your still going to say that color of the sunset is gothic rose, at least provide a better picture. I can't even tell from your picture if that is a pair of sunsets, let alone the color. I on the other hand have pictures of every time the sunset is worn (department store, in the house, W Photoshoot) and you can clearly see the Orange in the lenses from the Burnt Orange Color.

Also KAWA, try taking the picture of the OP-523 and Sunset next to eacher more in daylight with the flash off. Colors still like different to me. Sunset is duller pink purple, and OP-523 is brighter and more red. Still no way that the colors are the same. Anybody else besides KAWA think that the lens colors in the following picture could be the same?
