Hi, I was wondering what the difference between the Speedster and Speedster II is.
I think the battery configuration is one, and display and keypad the other.
Personally I like the Speedster better as it looks a little more professional with more info on the screen.
The Speedster II looks more like the Velocity with only a number display.
I also need a KPH version which I know both the Speedsters do but not the velocity. I also believe the speedster is not available new any more.
Regards.

Hi,
The original Speedster is no longer available. The Speedster II was created as an Optics Planet Exclusive. This was an upgrade to the Bushnell Velocity radar gun. The Speedster II had a stronger ABS plastic housing, updated circuitry, and could do both miles and kilometers per hour. Since the release of the Bushnell Speedster II, the Velocity has been updated to match the specs of the Speedster II, making them the same unit with a different name. I'm casting my vote for the Speedster II because it costs less than the Velocity (non-DEMO)
