speed gun problem
When I turn my gun on it registers 888 and then goes to kph. When I pull the trigger it reads 888 then 2.2 and goes to kph. It will not change to mph or read the correct speed. I have tried fresh batteries with no change. Any advise?

Re: speed gun problem
Hi,
If you have the Bushnell Speedster II or the Bushnell Velocity radar gun, they tend to operate better with NiMH rechargeable batteries. The Bushnell radar guns draw a slightly higher level of current than some alkaline batteries can handle and will cause erratic numbers and functions on the displays. I have not heard of this causing it to jump from miles to kilometers before though. If you already have rechargeables around, give them a try. Otherwise, or if this is not the model radar you have, you may want to exchange the unit.
