Off topic but in relation to Genesis 2

I need a quesetion answered... In regards to the genesis 2... How long does it take to activate the system if it is not on... What I am looking for is the time it takes from a system off to being able to get the speed of an approaching vehicle.. is it 10 seconds... or more.. thanks

This unit is typically in standby mode during an officer's shift. It is only powered off when there is no chance of it being used. From standby mode to speed acquisition is as quick as the officer can press a button. As for initial start up times, you may want to contact Decatur directly.
