A friend is looking to purchase a riflescope that has a deer sizing reticle which can be adjusted by a dial to reflect the distance of the deer.
He owned a redield that had this feature and believes there may be Bushnell models with this feature. I have no idea what this feature is called.
As Joni pointed out, any duplex reticle can be used as a range guesstimator. But, you will probably have better luck with something along the lines of a mildot reticle. If you take the time to master the system. Personally, I don't like any of these systems. Very few people master them to a point that all their shots are ethical. I much prefer a laser range finder. It is much more accurate for the average hunter.

I agree. The laser rangefinder is also much quicker than doing calcualtions with a mil-dot. _________________ ----------------------
