What is the best concealed weapon holster for a S&W Model 629 Performance .44 revolver, 4" barrel with about a 1/2" extender. He also wants some speed loaders. Am buying this as a gift for a friend and do not know where to start.
Any assistance will be appreciated. Thanks.

Re: S&W Model 629 holster
"Best" is subjective. Tough to buy a holster for a person if you don't know how he wants to carry or for what reason. A 629 is generally not considered a concealed carry gun. However, a good choice of holster would be the Galco Dual Position Phoenix for the 5" barrel. It can be worn in two different ways: crossdraw or strong side. A more concealable hoster would be an inside the pants model, but he'd likely have to buy larger pants to fit the big thing in there. Galco holsters are superb, and anyone would be proud to own one.
