Garmin eTrex GPS System
Final thought and request for assistance and then I will order something you have in stock. Based on what you provided below then it sounds like I am overbuying based upon the person who would be using it. Perhaps I need to step down to a much more basic unit for ease of use and since the person is unlikely to use anything much more than the basic features.
What do you recommend?
Thanks for your help,
M. J. Usery
Yes, I got that impression, too. Try something very simple such as the Garmin Etrex. This is as simple and basic as a GPS gets, but it is just as accurate as the most expensive model. It won't display maps, but it will show you the directions to any location you save as a waypoint and, of course, it will always give you your location in lat/long and so on.
