gonna live in the bush in alaska, what GPS is best for the $

gonna live in Ak, need good but moderate priced GPS....what do you recommend...would be nice to have one of the newones that has the maps in it or downloadable maps????? i'm new to this...

Have had my best luck from a quality and customer service standpoint with the Garmins. A basic map version such as the E-trex, http://www.opticsplanet.net/garmin-etre ... 35800.html would be hard to beat.
