Hi does anyone know the specs for the Bushnell DNV Nighthawk? I went to Bushnell Optics website and they don't list it.
Thanks,
GLC

Thank you for your interest in www.OpticsPlanet.com. The Bushnell Nighthawk, http://store.yahoo.com/opticsplanet/bushnell-dnv-night-hawk-night-vision-viewer-260900.html, is a brand new item. We do not have any in stock, but we just updated our site with all of available info at the above link. We are expecting to get the Nighthawk in stock by early August. Please let us know if there is anything else we can do for you.

I just picked up one of these and wanted to look up further usage info, etc. The Bushnell "manual" is a pitiful scrap of paper that tells you nothing beyond "turn it on" and things like that. There did not appear to be any software with it, and it certainly doesn't have any place for USB, Memory cards, or the like, as per your site. Are we talking about the same device? Is there anywhere to get the actual specs? This device doesn't even appear on the Bushnell site.

I bought two different Bushnell NightHawks, and neither has worked. I've charged the units (they have sealed batteries, with no user access) and no luck. I called the local BassPro Shop, and the optics guy couldn't get their unit to work either. The instruction sheet is useless, and customer support claims they're not having problems with the units. No information on Bushnell's webpage - they don't even acknowledge it. This one's going back - has anyone gotten this model to work?

Hold the power button down for 3-5 seconds. I just picked this one up today, marked incorrectly at a local walmart for 49.99 Razz

hi. make sure the lens cap is off, otherwise its hard to tell if the unit is on or not. also when working properly you cant hide yourself as the infra red lights are visible in the dark and the viewing screen lights up your face like a torch [flashlight] and your busted. seems you might as well use a good lantern.

The problem is the battery contacts. Take the unit apart and bend the contacts out. You have to take 2 screws out on the side and the rubber things on the top and bottom
