In the market for a telescope.
I have been interested in astronomy for many years.I have an old telescope that is old and wore out.I would like to purchase a new one at a reasonable cost.Something not overly difficult to use.
My old telescope was ok,but I noticed that the more distant object that I looked at the less light I would recieve and the less useful my scope was.
I would like to avoid this problem if at all possible with the new model.
What do you recommend model and size wise??
Thank you for your interest in www.OpticsPlanet.com. We have many telescopes available, http://www.opticsplanet.com/telescopes.html, from beginner to advanced.
If you want to keep the price below $200, I would recommend the following:
http://www.opticsplanet.com/ci-firstscope-76q.html, Celestron 76EQ,
http://www.opticsplanet.com/rasco-1000x ... axsee.html, Tasco Galaxsee.
If you would like something with a GoTo computer that's a little more expensive, look at:
http://www.opticsplanet.com/bushnell-67 ... -comp.html, Bushnell Northstar 4.5",
http://www.opticsplanet.com/meade-etx70at.html, Meade ETX 70,
http://www.opticsplanet.com/ci-nextstar-80gt.html, Celestron 80GT.
For an easy to use intermediate telescope that will last for many years:
http://www.opticsplanet.com/ci-nextstar-130gt.html, Celestron 130GT,
http://www.opticsplanet.com/meade-etx90ec.html, Meade ETX 90.
Please let me know if there is anything else I can do for you.
I hope this information has been helpful. Good Luck.
