Hello,

I know nothing about telescopes. I would like to get one for a 30th floor apt in New York City. I want to look at the sky but also at objects like boats on the river. I cannot spend more than $150. ANY advice would be appreciated! Thanks.

Hi

For day work, a spotting scope is the best choice. Go with a straight version if you are looking down at objects. Try the Celestron Ultima 80.
